'We're Going to Change a Student's Life -- Again': Canada's Luckiest Student Is Now Giving Away $100,000, Including a 2016 Ford Focus

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - November 10, 2015) - As tuition costs continue to soar in Canada, so does the prize value in Canada's Luckiest Student, one of the country's biggest scholarships. It's a nation-wide opportunity with students involved from virtually every college, high school, and university in Canada.

Student Life Network, which powers Canada's Luckiest Student, is proud to announce its latest partnership with Ford of Canada. Joining well-known brands like CIBC, Fido, Costco, Blue Mountain, travelcuts, and Live Nation, Ford of Canada has come on board to give away a brand new 2016 Ford Focus. With a value of over $100,000, Canada's Luckiest Student 4 is now officially the biggest prize giveaway in Student Life Network history.

Now in its fourth installment, Canada's Luckiest Student was born out of the need to help students remove the stress, especially financial, that comes with being a student. Each prize is curated to either lift financial barriers, relieve student stress, or to assist with student life.

Launched in August, Canada's Luckiest Student 4 releases new prizes as the contest grows. To date, some of the prizes include a $20,000 GIC from CIBC, a $5,000 Euro trip, a year of groceries, free tuition for a year, $4,000 in books, a $5,000 clothing shopping spree and much more.

"We are changing the lives of students for the better. And we love doing it," says T.J. Donnelly, President and CEO of Student Life Network. "With major brands like Ford of Canada coming on board, we are able to literally benefit thousands of students. $100,000 in prizing is a big number!"

Unlike other scholarships, Canada's Luckiest Student engages with its participants daily. Students earn extra entries by completing actions throughout the contest or by unearthing vouchers that are hidden across Student Life Network's social media channels. The more extra entries a student gets, the better their odds of being crowned Canada's Luckiest Student.

Canada's Luckiest Student ends on January 4, 2016. The winner and runner-up winners will be announced following the close date.
