Wescorp and Ellycrack A/S to Test Proprietary Upgrading Process for Three Major Energy Producers

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 6, 2005) - Wescorp Energy Inc. (OTCBB:WSCE) is pleased to announce that testing of the patented heavy oil upgrading process it is developing with Ellycrack A/S will now be conducted for three (3) major energy producers over a ten-day period commencing September 7, 2005. All tests will occur at Ellycrack test facilities in Trondheim Norway and are the result of unsolicited requests by each energy producer. Oil samples from each producer will be processed under varying conditions to demonstrate how the Ellycrack process can upgrade heavier oils to a range of lighter crude in a relatively low temperature, energy input and pressure environment.

Results of the tests will be announced once final data is processed at the end of testing schedule.
