WeShop Conducting Daily Flash Sales

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 10, 2010) - WeShop, a New York-based start-up, announced today that it has started conducting daily flash sales that serve its 125,000 members.

WeShop has partnered with key merchants to provide the shopping deals consumers want, in time for the holiday shopping season. Many of the flash sales serve niche communities and consumer interests. Followers of the company's twitter account (@WeShop) are also alerted and provided direct links when flash sales become available.

"We're excited to be providing great offers for members that are valuable, fun and easy," said Geoff Brenna, CMO. "For merchants, this is a paradigm shift because they can now create daily flash sales through WeShop."

WeShop is the world's first consumer network where members utilize their own shopping data anonymously, attracting retailers and brands to make them great offers through the WeShop platform. This results in a radically improved shopping experience where merchants can make offers specifically to the consumers who want them, and consumers only get offers on the things they want to buy.

WeShop ( organizes consumers into a powerful network that enables them to receive better pricing and terms from retailers and brands, and share information about the products and services they buy. The New York-based company is privately held.
