West Hawk Announces Increase in Previously Announced Private Placement

DENVER, COLORADO--(Marketwire - Nov. 22, 2007) - West Hawk Development Corp. (TSX VENTURE:WHD)(FRANKFURT:H5N) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company is increasing the size of its previously announced private placement from 5,000,000 units to up to 12,500,000 units of the Company at a price of $0.20 per unit, for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of up to $2,500,000.

The Company also announces that it has closed today on approximately $1,250,000 of the private placement. The balance of the private placement is expected to close the first week of December.

The aggregate proceeds raised will be used by the Company for general working capital purposes.
