West Jefferson Medical Center Highlights GetWellNetwork in AHA Solutions' Webinar

Reducing Discharge Times by Automating the Medication Reconciliation Process and Increasing Patient Engagement

BETHESDA, MD--(Marketwire - March 18, 2011) - GetWellNetwork, Inc. today announced that the American Hospital Association Solutions, Inc., (AHA Solutions) will host a webinar on March 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. EDT to help hospitals solve a common challenge of reducing discharge times by automating the medication reconciliation process and improving the patient experience. West Jefferson Medical Center, located in Louisiana, operates a 451-bed hospital just minutes from downtown New Orleans and overcame unconquerable challenges to remain operational and care for its patients during Hurricane Katrina.

Based on their own successful experience, Angela Greener, Chief Administrative Officer at West Jefferson Medical Center (WJMC), will touch on effective ways that hospitals can leverage GetWellNetwork's interactive patient care system to engage patients consistently and effectively while reducing discharge times.

Together with moderator Mary Longe, Director of Patient Flow at AHA Solutions, Ms. Greener will share how WJMC was able to improve satisfaction requirements for patients and nurses, meet meaningful use guidelines, and integrate GetWellNetwork's digital platform with MedsTracker Design Clinicals' medication reconciliation system to better leverage their contract pharmacy relationship to generate additional revenue.

As part of the webinar, attendees will also obtain results from the 2010 AHA Solutions' Patient Flow Challenges Assessment, which includes specific recommendations regarding the overcoming discharge challenges.

Registration is available at AHA Webinar Featuring West Jefferson Medical Center.
