West Mountain Environmental Corp. Announces Deployment of Largest TPS System to Date

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Dec. 18, 2014) - West Mountain Environmental Corp. (the "Company" or "West Mountain") (TSX VENTURE:WMT) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Shanghai Phase Separation Environmental Technology Co. Ltd. has this week commissioned its newly enhanced TPS soil treatment system, the TPS2-3EC.

The Company has successfully deployed two of its new TPS2-3EC models, manufactured by Jereh Energy Services, to the Hangzhou Phase II Project complementing the existing TPS2-2EC system in operation since 2012. The new 3EC Extraction Units each have an annual treatment capacity of 40,000 tonnes, a significant increase over the existing 2EC design with no associated escalation in footprint or operating personnel. The combined capacity of the systems now deployed at Hangzhou Phase II approaches 110,000 tonnes per year.

"This project represents the largest single deployment of TPS technology since it was first commercialized in 1994", said Paul Antle, President and CEO, "in fact it represents one of the largest indirect thermal desorption systems operating in the world today. This is a new era for TPS technology and will undoubtedly further cement our leadership position in China."

This deployment signifies the first commercial result of extensive research and development conducted throughout 2013 - 2014 specific to the Chinese market. The larger capacity unit incorporates the recognized major advantages of enhanced environmental safety, a reduced greenhouse gas footprint and zero harmful emissions versus traditional disposal practices such as incineration. These advances represent a substantial increase in the Company's processing capacity, create significant reductions in operating costs, further enhance the market competitiveness of the TPS technology and opens up new market opportunities outside of China.
