West Point Launches Cannabix Marijuana Breathalyzer Development

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - July 14, 2014) - West Point Resources Inc. (CSE:BLO) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has selected a prototype development firm based in British Columbia to complete the initial version of the Cannabix Marijuana Breathalyzer. KLN Klein Product Development of Vancouver, B.C. has been contracted to develop the prototype working closely with West Point's engineering team led by Dr. Raj Attariwala.

Dr. Attariwala stated, "I am excited to have the funding in place and to move forward on developing this much needed product for the law enforcement market. We have identified the major components for the marijuana breathalyzer collection device and are moving quickly to develop our prototype".

Kal Mahli, President of West Point stated, "We are fast tracking the development of the marijuana breathalyzer and have expedited the development process. We have chosen a prototype manufacturer that is capable of moving quickly with development and has vast experience with similar technologies. We have received significant interest for our device and we will be updating shareholders during the process."

West Point is the developer of the patent pending Cannabix Marijuana Breathalyzer for law enforcement. The Cannabix Marijuana Breathalyzer drug-impairment recognition system is based on breath testing technology that has been developed in Sweden and has been clinically researched to be successful in testing individuals for recent consumption of the THC component of marijuana. West Point is advancing its products to enable law enforcement personnel to use this technology to enhance detection of marijuana impaired driving offences on North American roads at a time when marijuana is becoming legal in many jurisdictions. The West Point drug-testing device will detect Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC- the psychoactive component of marijuana that causes intoxication) using breath samples. The device will provide rapid detection of THC and can be used roadside to identify drivers intoxicated by the use of marijuana. The device can also be useful for other practical applications such as testing employees in the workplace where intoxication by THC can be hazardous.

We seek Safe Harbor.
