Westbrook Technologies Appoints Paul Lord President and Chief Executive Officer

Lord Will Accelerate Profitable Revenue Growth Through Reseller Recruitment, Customer Acquisitions and International Expansion

BRANFORD, CT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 25, 2005 -- Westbrook Technologies, a leader in document management software, today announced that Paul Lord, former Chief Operating Officer and Board member of the Company, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Lord will be assuming the role previously held by Sean Donegan, who has left the Company for personal reasons.

Lord's expertise optimizing companies' organizational infrastructures, products, technologies, and sales/marketing strategies will be instrumental as Westbrook embarks on new initiatives. Having been involved with Westbrook for the last three and a half years in various capacities, he will continue to drive the Company to the next level of potential. Lord will accelerate profitable revenue growth through reseller recruitment, customer acquisitions and international expansion, as well as launch Westbrook's new service-orientated architecture applications to the marketplace.

Lord has more than 20 years of sales, marketing, acquisition and leadership experience providing software solutions to blue chip organizations worldwide. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer of Westbrook Technologies after serving on the Board for more than 18 months. In this role, Lord introduced new sales methodologies resulting in significant revenue increases from the previous two years. He successfully delivered eight consecutive quarters of profitability and positive cash flow, built the Company's consulting services business, increased software support revenues and recruited a first-rate service-orientated architecture development team.

He spent eight years with San Francisco-based Elevon (formerly Walker Interactive) as President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for global sales, marketing, research and development, consulting, customer support, alliances and product management. Lord revolutionized Elevon as a collaborative commerce and analytical applications company. Prior to joining Elevon, Lord was Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Quality Software Products (QSP) in the UK. Lord led the transformation of QSP, which resulted in the initial public offering of QSP on the London Stock Exchange.

"On behalf of the entire Board, I want to express how enthusiastic we are about Paul's new role," Luke Allen, Chairman of Westbrook Technologies, commented. "Paul has been an instrumental part of the executive team, first as a Board member and then as Chief Operating Officer. He has provided sound leadership for the Company, which has grown into a much stronger and profitable organization during his tenure. Paul is an experienced and visionary leader who has demonstrated -- both at Westbrook Technologies and other companies -- that he has the experience of taking businesses through rapid profitable growth and increasing market share."

"This is an exciting time for Westbrook Technologies with many product enhancements and customer acquisitions on the horizon, and I am thrilled to be a part of such a successful company," Lord said. "I am fortunate to be working with an experienced management team, exceptional customer and reseller community, highly innovative next-generation suite of products and a strong balance sheet. My team and I will seize the opportunity for further growth in the market and continue to capitalize on Westbrook's solid position in the industry as we set pace for another milestone year."
