Westcon Group Awarded Secure Computing "North American Distributor of the Year"

Specialty Distributor Recognized for Innovative Programs, Sales Performance

TARRYTOWN, NY--(Marketwire - March 10, 2008) - Westcon Group, Inc., the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, announced that it was awarded "North American Distributor of the Year" by Secure Computing (NASDAQ: SCUR), a leading enterprise gateway security company.

The award recognizes Westcon Group as having increased its sales of Secure Computing solutions by 400 percent in 2007, as well as having sponsored margin incentive programs that helped the manufacturer accelerate sales faster than its competitors. Secure Computing, a participating vendor in Westcon's SecurityPoint program, also cited Westcon's finance programs as having a significant effect in helping resellers win larger deals that included their security products.
