Westcore Applies for Warrant Term Extension

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - Feb. 10, 2012) - WESTCORE ENERGY LTD. - (TSX VENTURE:WTR) ("Westcore" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has made application to the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") to extend the term of all outstanding share purchase warrants (the "Warrants") from one (1) year to two (2) years from the date of issuance in accordance with Exchange policies. The Warrants that are the subject of the extension application consist of an aggregate of 4,518,446 Warrants, each with an exercise price of $1.00 per Warrant, which were issued in connection with the Corporation's private placement that closed on February 28, 2011. The foregoing Warrants are set to expire on February 28, 2012 and the application being submitted to the Exchange is to extend the expiry date until February 28, 2013. There are no insiders of the Company that hold these Warrants.
