Westeel Products to Be Marketed by Buhler Industries in the U.S.A

Announcement Commences Second Phase of Westeel/Buhler Global Strategic Alliance

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2010) - Westeel has entered into the second phase of a global strategic alliance with Buhler Industries Inc. under which Westeel Storage Solutions products will be marketed in the United States through Buhler Industries' U.S. dealers.

As part of this phase of the alliance, Buhler Industries will become the sole distributor for Westeel products in the United States and assume responsibility for marketing both Westeel-built product sold under Buhler Industries' Farm King brand and all Westeel- branded products sold in the U.S., including grain storage bins, storage accessories, grain augers, grain vacs and grain cleaners.

"This is very exciting news for Westeel as it significantly increases the distribution footprint for our products within the U.S.," said André Granger, Westeel's Vice President and General Manager. "Thanks to Buhler Industries' well established U.S. dealer network Westeel-built products will now be introduced to many new markets, and receive the dealer support they require to penetrate those markets strongly."

Buhler Industries will select a group of grain handling dealers in its U.S. dealer network to carry Farm King branded grain storage products. Under the agreement, Buhler Industries will also take over responsibility for distributing Westeel-branded product in the U.S. including grain storage bins, storage accessories, augers, grain vacs, and grain cleaners.

This global alliance is the latest example of Westeel's growth strategy aimed at increasing international business development in the agricultural sector. As part of the first phase of the alliance announced on October 5, 2010, Westeel is now marketing, under the Westeel brand, Buhler-manufactured portable grain handling equipment through its Canadian distribution network.

Westeel, a valued business of Vicwest Income Fund, maintains its head office and five production facilities in Western Canada as well as operates branch offices in St. Simon, Quebec and Fargo, North Dakota.
