Western Troy Executes Agreement With Genivar for Bankable Feasibility and Environmental Impact Assessment for Its MacLeod Lake Molybdenum/Copper Project

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 2, 2008) - Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WRY) ("Western Troy") announced today that it had executed agreements with Genivar LP of Val-d'Or, Quebec to prepare a final feasibility study and obtain all permits for the development of Western Troy's MacLeod Lake Molybdenum/Copper Project.

Genivar is a leader in Canadian engineering consulting with a history that goes back to 1959. It currently has 60 offices in Canada, over 3,000 employees, and is working on projects in more than 30 countries. Genivar has a full range of engineering, environmental, and construction management capabilities in the mining and mineral processing industries. Dr. Tyson C. Birkett, P.Eng., Ph.D., has been assigned as feasibility study project leader and Mr. Donald Blanchet P.Eng., MBA, has been assigned as environmental impact assessment team leader. Mr. Birkett has over 30 years experience in mineral exploration, evaluation, and development in Quebec. Mr. Blanchet has over 20 years experience in mining project environmental permitting in Canada. Genivar's work on the project began June 26th when members of the Genivar feasibility and environmental team visited the MacLeod Lake Project site to familiarize team members with the project and potential road access routes.
