Western Uranium Corporation Announces Results of AGM Matters and Appointment of New Vice-President Exploration

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 30, 2007) - Western Uranium Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WUC) announced today that the Company's shareholders approved all matters put to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on March 29, 2007. The Company's directors for the next year will be Edward Flood (Chair), Pamela Klessig (Chief Executive Officer), John Proust, Debra Struthsacker and Harry Dobson. The Company would like to thank Mr. Robert Chase, who did not stand for re-election, for his services as a director of the Company.

The Company further announces that John Rice has been appointed as Vice-President of Exploration. Victor Calloway, the former Vice-President of Exploration, will now assume the position of Chief Geologist. Mr. Rice has over 28 years of minerals exploration experience with a strong field oriented background. He has worked extensively in the western US, Argentina, Mexico, and Venezuela generating and evaluating a wide range of mineral targets. Mr. Rice began his career exploring for uranium and gold in Wyoming. He has been previously employed with Chevron Resources, Freeport Gold, Crown Resources, and Inmet USA. Prior to joining Western Mr. Rice provided geological consulting services for 10 years. Mr. Rice is Certified Professional Geologist.

In connection with this appointment the Company has granted Mr. Rice 300,000 stock options exercisable for 5 years at an exercise price of $3.80.
