WestJet Commences All-Jet Service to Charlottetown, P.E.I.

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - June 28, 2005) - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today celebrated the commencement of its new seasonal non-stop service to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.). WestJet now offers daily non-stop flights between Charlottetown and Toronto until September 15, 2005. A convenient direct flight between Charlottetown and Vancouver is also available for guests. The airline also provides connecting service from Charlottetown to the cities of Calgary, Abbotsford, Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal.

The airline is utilizing its brand new 166-seat Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft to serve P.E.I.
