WestJet Shares the Spirit of Giving

Airline donates $2 from internet bookings made between December 15 and 25, 2007 to charitable partners

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2007) - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today announced that between December 15 and 25, 2007, $2 of every booking made through westjet.com will be donated to the charitable partners of the WestJet Cares for Kids program. This donation is at no cost to our guests. WestJet Cares for Kids partners include; Make-A-Wish Canada, Hope Air, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, Missing Children Society of Canada, CNIB Early Intervention Program and numerous children's hospitals and paediatric wards across Canada.

"It's our holiday gift to our charity partners that help with children's health and wellness issues across Canada. Of course, our guests will still receive the same great low fares while helping us make a difference."

WestJet Cares for Kids is WestJet's community investment program that focuses on children's health and wellness. WestJet donated over gifts of 3,600 flights throughout 2007. With over 90,000 transactions expected through westjet.com between Dec. 15 and 25, 2007, WestJet expects to donate approximately $200,000 to its charitable partners.
