Westone Connects With New Talk Series Earphones

Westone Laboratories, Inc. Introduces the T1, the First in a New Line of True-Fit Talk Series Earphones Designed for the Active User and Mobile Professional

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO--(Marketwire - January 6, 2011) -  Westone Laboratories, Inc. introduces the T1, its first offering in a new line of True-Fit Talk Series earphones designed to connect and control the latest smartphones and media devices.

"Our new T1 delivers an all-in-one entertainment and communication solution for the active user or mobile professional who demands superior audiophile grade sound," explains Jeff Kwiatkowski, Director of Westone Music Products. "The Talk Series earphones share the same True-Fit technology and balanced armature drivers as our Westone Series of products which lead the industry in both comfort and sound quality."

For use with most smartphones including iPhone®, Blackberry® and Android®, T1 users have the ability to talk on the phone, answer/ end calls, change tracks and pause all seamlessly integrated into the exclusive EPIC MICS cable controller. T1 can also provide control for those Mp3 devices with four-pin 3.5mm connection like iPod touch and iPad.

"A Westone customer wants a personal audio experience way beyond the basic ear buds and certainly more dynamic than many of the current single driver products on the market. These earphones are exceptionally comfortable and make the perfect companion when you're on the phone sprinting to catch a plane in the airport or settling in for a long-haul flight watching movies on an iPad," describes David Slepak, Director of Marketing.

Westone T1 with integrated microphone and controller has a suggested retail price of $129 and will start shipping in the first quarter of 2011.
