Westport Attorney Ken Bernhard of Cohen and Wolf Returns From Teaching in Mongolia

WESTPORT, CT--(Marketwire - May 20, 2010) -  Attorney G. Kenneth Bernhard, principal in the Westport Office of Cohen and Wolf, P.C., recently returned from a week long trip to Mongolia where he had been invited to teach American Constitutional Law. During his stay, he taught 4th year law students at the National University of Mongolia School of Law. He also assisted the school's administration with revisions to the Mongolian Criminal Code, which will be submitted to parliament at the end of the year.

Mr. Bernhard participated in the teaching assignment at the behest of the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS), located in Salzburg, Austria where he serves as a Senior Attorney. The center helps to locate legal institutions in Eastern Europe and the former republics of the Soviet Union that are desirous of having access to visiting scholars. This is Mr. Bernhard's 5th teaching assignment through CILS. He has previously visited and taught at law schools in Russia, Poland, Bulgaria and Latvia.

"My experience teaching through the Center for International Legal Studies has been very rewarding. Every time I visit a new school, I am amazed at how enthusiastic and determined the students are to study the American Constitution and to learn more about our legal system after having emerged from Communist rule," said Ken Bernhard.

Mr. Bernhard, as a principal at Cohen and Wolf, represents municipalities and a wide range of businesses, as well as individuals, in litigation, real estate, and commercial matters. He currently serves as town attorney for Wilton and previously served as town attorney for Westport and Weston.
