The Challenges and Opportunities Facing Today's CISO
Keynote Summary: In the mid-1990's, cyber security started to be taken more seriously in the C-suite when the first CISO was installed. Every organization eventually wanted a CISO, but unfortunately, expectations and desired outcome throughout the years have dramatically exceeded results. This keynote will walk through the history of the CISO, the unfulfilled dreams and hopes of both security practitioners and the companies that hire them, epic failures and successes and what the future holds for this evolving profession in the face of advanced threats and rapid technology change.

About White Ops
White Ops is a pioneer in cybersecurity services for the detection and prevention of sophisticated online fraud. Using a deterministic, event-level, evidence-based detection approach, White Ops distinguishes fraudulent and malicious behavior from legitimate behavior on a user's device within online advertising and publishing, enterprise business networks, e-commerce transactions, financial systems, and more, allowing organizations to remove and prevent fraudulent traffic and activity. By working with customers to cut off sources of bad Internet traffic, White Ops makes online fraud unprofitable and unsustainable for the cyber-criminals -- an economic strategy that will eventually eradicate this type of fraud.
