Wikinvest and USATODAY.com Collaborate to Bring Readers Fresh Insights on Stocks

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - December 15, 2008) - Wikinvest and USATODAY.com have announced a strategic partnership to syndicate content licensed from Wikinvest.com (www.wikinvest.com) on USATODAY.com.

Starting today, selected articles about companies in USATODAY.com's Money section will feature an interactive Wikinvest sidebar. The sidebar includes reasons to be "Bullish" and "Bearish" about the company referenced in the article, and a dynamic, interactive stock chart that readers can click, pan, and zoom without reloading the page. The interactive chart, which users can annotate with their explanations of stock price movements, will also appear on USATODAY.com stock pages with more Wikinvest content.

Bulls and Bears reasons are added by Wikinvest contributors -- and USATODAY.com readers will be able vote for or against the reasons. Changes are patrolled by Wikinvest staff to keep out spam or vandalism. USATODAY.com readers can also add their own analysis by joining Wikinvest.

"Today more than ever, USA TODAY readers are looking for insight and analysis on the stock market, and what Wikinvest's community of contributors is building goes way beyond the standard statistics you see on most finance portals," said Jeff Webber, Senior Vice President and publisher of USATODAY.com.

For Wikinvest, a syndication partnership means the site's content will now reach USATODAY.com's 11 million unique monthly visitors.

"Our partnership with USATODAY.com is a tremendous validation of the quality of content on Wikinvest," said Wikinvest Co-CEO Michael Sha. "We're excited to be working with the top-selling newspaper in the US and this partnership dramatically increases the number of people who benefit from the work done by the Wikinvest community."
