Williamsburg Dentist to Move in New Location

WILLIAMSBURG, VA--(Marketwired - January 25, 2016) - Dr. Michael Whyte, a leading family general dentist, is hosting a weeklong open house at the beginning of February to show patients his new dental office.

Historic Triangle Dental Care's new location, 1769 Jamestown Rd., Ste. 2B, is a state-of-the-art facility with comfortable operatories and patient amenities. Dr. Whyte will provide patients and visitors with refreshments and office tours from Feb. 1-5. The dental team will also have special gifts for visitors.

"This is an exciting change for our patients," Dr. Whyte said. "Our new office is much more spacious, with a more comfortable waiting room, easier access and visibility, sunny treatment rooms and a private consultation room."

Dr. Whyte said the new office is more convenient for families. The new facility includes nitrous oxide sedation and gives Dr. Whyte more space to build upon his comprehensive dental services.

Over the past year, Historic Triangle Dental Care has seen an increase in patients and needed more operatories to give patients timely, convenient care, Dr. Whyte said. Patients of Historic Triangle Dental Care can expect less waiting time and the latest dental technology.

"Our patients are very excited about the growth of the practice, and we're happy to provide them with an incredible facility," Dr. Whyte said. "We could not be growing so quickly if not for the many referrals we enjoy every week."

Historic Triangle Dental Care offers all phases of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, gum disease treatment, endodontics and beautiful dentures.

Historic Triangle Dental Care is a preferred Invisalign provider and places dental implants for patients with missing teeth or those who need to stabilize dentures. The office also focuses on All-on-4 dental implants and full-mouth reconstructions. All-on-4 dental implants are designed to anchor permanent teeth on the top and bottom arches. Upper dentures typically rely on suction to stay in place, but All-on-4 dental implants are restored with a set of permanent teeth that leave the upper palate open, which allows the patient to experience more tastes.

Dental implants nearly mimic natural teeth and can last a lifetime if cared for properly.

The practice uses cone beam computed tomography and 3D imaging to diagnose and treat patients; WaveOne endodontics system for quick root canals; and the Pala Digital Denture System to create accurate and beautiful dentures in just two visits. The dental practice also works with Arrowhead Dental Lab's Elite e.max to create long-lasting and natural-looking crowns and restorations.

Dr. Whyte earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University in economics and biology and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has also completed continuing education in All-on-4 dental implants, sleep apnea treatment, sedation dentistry and full-mouth reconstruction.
