Winners of 6th Annual ACG New York Champion's Awards Revealed

Top M&A Deals, Firms and Professionals Recently Honored at Award Ceremony at the Metropolitan Club in NYC

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - June 17, 2016) - ACG New York, the largest association of middle market deal making professionals in New York, and The M&A Advisor announces the winners of the 6th Annual ACG New York Champion's Award which was held on June 16th, 2016 at the Metropolitan Club in New York City. The annual tribute recognized and honored the leading middle market transactions, firms and dealmakers within the local ACG community responsible for supporting middle market growth in New York. The winners were selected in the following categories -- Business Services Deal of the Year (Consultant, Management Co, Valuation Firm), Consumer/Retail Deal of the Year, Healthcare Deal of the Year, Manufacturing Deal of the Year, Technology Deal of the Year, Cross Border Deal of the Year and Entertainment/Media/Telecom Deal of the Year.

Among the esteemed honorees were David Solomon, CEO of Lazard Middle Market, who was presented with the Peter Hilton Founder's Award and Martin Okner of SHM Corporate Navigators, who received the Chapter Leadership award. Additionally, Michelle Van Hellemont, Vice President of ACG New York's Women of Leadership program and Managing Director of Accordion Partners received the Women of Leadership Award.

Criteria used by the judges included the importance of the transaction, product, service or dealmaker to the industry and also the level of creativity, resourcefulness and perseverance it took to complete the deal.
