Winslow Announces Drilling Results and Management Update

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 22, 2005) - Winslow is pleased
to announce the Company's Hairy Hills well, in the Wellington area of
central Alberta, has been effectively drilled and cased to target depth.
The drilling location was based on 3D seismic data acquired by partners
in 2004, which allowed a new location to be picked offsetting the well
drilled by Winslow and partners on the same section in 2003. The targeted
reservoirs for the well consist of sandstone layers within the Clearwater,
Colony, Viking and Glauconitic formations. Four zones were tested with
pressures from three zones indicating producible gas. A multiple completion
has been performed and the well is waiting to be tied-in. The tie-in is
expected to be completed in late March. The cumulative test data indicates
the well is capable of producing 800Mcf/d.

Winslow has a net 25% interest in the well.

The Company drilled a 100% working interest well near Tindastol in
west-central Alberta in December of 2004. Well log data indicated gas
potential in two zones within the Edmonton Group sands. Initial testing
suggested the presence of gas, however permeability appeared to be low.
Both zones have subsequently been fracture stimulated and re-tested. The
latest test data suggests sufficient producible gas is present.
Thirty minute flow tests for the two prospective sand intervals produced
combined flow rates of 120Mcf/d. The Company is currently determining the
economic viability of the well being dually completed to produce from both

In January, Winslow participated in a lower Mannville test in east-central
Alberta offsetting a 1960s well that had an initial test of 3.1MMcf/d in the
Mannville Group before being abandoned. The Ostracod zone was subsequently
completed and flowed gas. Additional uphole zones including the upper Mannville,
Viking and Bow Island formations may have additional upside potential. Further
testing work and tie-in is scheduled over the next few weeks. Winslow has a 5%
net working interest in the well.
