Winslow Completes First Drilling Phase of Shallow Gas Project in Saskatchewan

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - June 8, 2005) - Winslow Resources is pleased to announce conclusion of the Company's 12-well phase-one drilling program which had commenced in mid-May on the Company's 28,000 acre shallow gas project in southwest Saskatchewan. The Winslow-operated initial 12-well drilling program was developed to adequately evaluate the Milk River formation shallow gas potential of these lands. A number of the wells were also located to take advantage of the close proximity to infrastructure. A cased-hole logging program for the phase-one wells has been initiated and will take approximately ten days to complete.

Upon interpretation of the well-log data, Winslow will design and implement a well completion and testing program to establish initial production capabilities of wells drilled to date. This phase of the project will be initiated before the end of June.

Subject to evaluation of the completion and test results from the first drilling phase, the Company will have the option to drill a phase-two 12 well drilling program to earn the balance of the farmin lands. In addition, the Company will earn an additional 12 existing shut-in Milk River gas wells on the properties upon completion of the phase-two drilling program. The second drilling phase is expected to commence during the third quarter of 2005.
