Wireless Age Communications Announces New Appointment

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 18, 2011) - Wireless Age Communications Inc., (PINK SHEETS:WLSA), ("Wireless Age" or "the Company") a public company, with its operational headquarters located in King City, Ontario is pleased to announce that William B. Packer Jr. of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, has accepted his invitation to join the Company's Advisory Board as its Vice Chairman, and will additionally serve in a part-time Executive capacity.

Mr. Packer is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont. He began his entrepreneurial career in the natural resources and corporate finance sectors in 1975 with the Seaview Petroleum Group. By 1978, he had risen to the office of Vice President responsible for plant operations and logistics co-ordination with Scallop Petroleum - a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Dutch Group. In 1983, Mr. Packer was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of the Seaview Petroleum Company - with $165 Million in Revenue - having offices in Paulsboro, New Jersey, and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Over the next 6 years, he led the company to a 650% increase in revenue.

In 1989, Mr. Packer negotiated a 50/50 merger between the Seaview Petroleum Company and the Government of Venezuela, culminating in the creation of CITGO OIL (U.S. Lubes). Mr. Packer led the company as Chief Executive Officer for 3 years, before selling Seaview's 50% interest to the Venezuelan Government. He remained as Chairman of the Board, and an Operating Consultant to the company until 1995. Subsequent to 1995, Mr. Packer initiated a number of commercial investments in Real Estate, corporate acquisitions, mergers and consolidations, and launched reclamation of oil from coal tar residues recycling technology project.

Since 2000, Mr. Packer has been the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Seaview Refinery Holdings LLC. and U.S. Lubes LLC., and has focused his attention on the growth and direction of one of the largest independent refiners and suppliers of motor oils and industrial lubricants to over 4,000 customers from Massachusetts to Virginia maintaining supplier relationships with CITGO PETROLEUM CORP. and PETRO CANADA. He has continued to have passionate and significant financial interests in Renewable Energy, the Recycling of Oil Products, and Waste To Energy Initiatives. His support of, and interest in Research facilities and projects which specifically address the efficacy of Plasma Arc Torch technology and its deployment in the scientific processes of Gasification and Vitrification is recognized throughout North America and Europe.

Although much of Mr. Packer's time is spent managing his Family Business and Family Trusts, he has enthusiastically embraced the Vertility vision.

"I am very excited by this opportunity to work with a company that has such strong potential in the U.S. Marketplace as larger municipalities - particularly those on the Eastern seaboard where approximately 30% of the American population is concentrated - are transitioning from landfill sites which have outlived their usefulness, to Waste To Energy solutions, which are the future of residential and commercial waste management. I've spent many years and many Research & Development dollars in this space, and John Simmonds and his outstanding Vertility team are well ahead of anyone else that I've seen. It's a World Class organization with World-Class people, and I'm privileged to be a part of it," stated Mr. Packer.
