Wireless Age Communications Inc. Announces New Appointment

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 26, 2011) - Wireless Age Communications Inc., (PINK SHEETS:WLSA), ("Wireless Age" or "the Company") a public company, with its operational headquarters located in King City, Ontario is pleased to announce that General (Ret.) Lewis W. MacKenzie has accepted the companies' invitation to join its Advisory Board as its Vice Chairman. General MacKenzie states, "It is a distinct privilege to join such a highly qualified Advisory Board, and I look forward to working with John Simmonds and his Senior Management team at Vertility, who's diligent and patient efforts have taken them to the leading edge of such important environmental technologies."

General MacKenzie is one of the most highly decorated Canadians in Military history. He received the VIMY AWARD, which recognized his "significant and outstanding contribution to the defence and security of our Nation and the preservation of democratic values." He was the first Canadian in history to receive a second Meritorious Service Cross - a most venerable distinction which is rarely conferred upon an individual even once. General MacKenzie is a Member of the Order of Canada, and in 1992, was named Canadian of the Year by the Canadian Government.

During his distinguished and outstanding military career which saw him rise to the Office of Commander of the Army for Ontario, General MacKenzie saw action in Vietnam, The Gaza Strip, Cairo, Cyprus, Central America and Sarajevo. He spent nine (9) years with NATO Forces in Germany; served nine (9) peacekeeping tours of duty; and commanded two United Nations Operations - the first in Central America, and the second in the former Yugoslavia, where he commanded soldiers from 31 countries, and succeeded in opening the Sarajevo airport for the delivery of humanitarian aid during the height of the Bosnian civil war. It is a little known fact that as a young soldier, then Major MacKenzie was one of 20 soldiers deployed to Hue - on the border of North and South Vietnam - in order to retrieve U.S. Captain John McCain (now Senator John McCain of Arizona) and other American P.O.W.s from Viet Cong imprisonment.

General MacKenzie is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier College, the University of Manitoba and the United States Army War College. He is an author whose publications include 1993 # 1 Best Seller "PEACEKEEPER". A subsequent two hour A&E film documentary based on this book received international acclaim and won the prestigious New York Film Festival Award.

General MacKenzie continues to serve on several Public, Private and Charitable Boards, most notably many TSX Listed companies, where he serves on, and Chairs Corporate Governance, Compliance and Audit Committees. He has instructed the Senior Executive Management of many Fortune 500 companies, and over 1,000,000 people worldwide on Leadership, Management and Accountability. He remains under contract to several international news networks.
