Wireless Age Completes Acquisition of Leading Canadian
Wireless Integrator

MMWAVE ADDS ENGINEERING CAPABILITY AND BOOSTS EASTERN CANADA PRESENCE

Wireless Age Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:WLSA) announced today that it
has completed its acquisition of Mississauga-based mmwave Technologies
Inc., a leading provider of wireless, microwave and fibre optic
networks, components and test systems.

Concurrent with the acquisition, Mr. Brad Poulos, former President of
mmwave was appointed to the newly created position of President of
Wireless Age Communications, reporting to Mr. John Simmonds, Chief
Executive Officer. Mr. Glenn Poulos, who founded mmwave in 1991 and
served as its president until 1998, when he left the company and his
brother Brad assumed that role, returned to mmwave to resume the
presidency. mmwave is a consistently profitable company, with revenues
in each of the past two fiscal years of approximately US $9.1 million.
The company is recognized as a leader in the community broadband
industry in Canada, in addition to being a major supplier to the
Canadian PCS (personal communication services) industry.
