TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 11, 2005) - Wireless Age
Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:WLSA) announced today that it will no longer
pursue the acquisition of 479645 Alberta Ltd. including its operating
divisions Westcan Wireless and Allcan Electronic Distributors and its
majority owned subsidiary Bluewave Antenna Systems Ltd. Wireless Age and
the shareholders of 479645 Alberta previously agreed to extend the
closing to March 15, 2005.

"We believe that given our current share price, this acquisition is no
longer in the best interests of the Company." said John Simmonds,
Wireless Age's CEO. "Acquiring Westcan, Allcan and Bluewave would be far
too dilutive. We have other acquisition alternatives. In addition we
prefer to focus on the process of integrating mmwave and Wireless Age
