Wireless Matrix Deploys Solution with Leading Canadian Gas Company

RESTON, VIRGINIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 3, 2005) - Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX:WRX) today announced an agreement with a leading Canadian gas company to provide Mobile Base Station (MBS) units for coverage extension in their remote territory.

The MBS units for this company are being delivered equipped with satellite and GPS functionality. They will be used to enhance the company's existing radio system coverage in remote areas. The total number of units to be delivered is 55. Application functionality for the solution is being provided by MDSI.
