Wireless Matrix Launches FleetOutlook® 5.5

New Enhancements Extend Flagship Application's Value to Users

RESTON, VIRGINIA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX:WRX), a leader in mobile resource management, today announced its launch of FleetOutlook 5.5, the next release of the company's flagship web application.

Delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), the innovative application provides management and fleet operators 360 degree visibility into their operations via comprehensive reporting, exception-based alerts, nearest vehicle search, an interactive mapping interface and an open platform that allows seamless integration to third-party applications.

FleetOutlook 5.5 is the result of merging application platforms acquired by Wireless Matrix over the past 18 months with the administrative and operational systems of Wireless Matrix. This integration creates a common infrastructure for future product development and simplifies the products offered to the market. "Our engineering team has completed the hard work of integrating our platforms and simultaneously adding attractive functionality. These endeavors lay a great foundation for future growth" said J. Richard Carlson, CEO and president of Wireless Matrix.

Key enhancements to FleetOutlook 5.5 include:

- Enhanced Mapping: Improved labeling of map features such as states, cities and roads. A wider range of colors and shades highlight topographies and terrain.

- Improved Addressing: Greater precision in locating and displaying address information helps managers more accurately pinpoint a technician's location.

- Added Public Landmarks: Determine the location of a technician in relation to public landmarks.

- Increased System Performance: New improvements to make the user experience more enjoyable, including faster log-ins, screen refreshes and report generation.

"FleetOutlook 5.5 raises the bar for field force management applications by combining the low footprint of a fully web-based solution with a rich user experience typically only found in desktop applications," said Adam Wegel, senior director of product management. "The new maps provide our enterprise users with a level of contextual detail not available from consumer-grade online maps."

This release is immediately available to the company's 62,000 subscribers and new users via the FleetOutlook link on the Wireless Matrix homepage, www.wrx-us.com.
