Wireless Matrix Names Al Milligan Chief Operating Officer and Barbara Lyon as Vice President, Customer Operations

Key Executive Appointments to Help Drive Continued Growth in Expanding Mobile Resource Management Market

RESTON, VIRGINIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 28, 2007) - Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX:WRX), a leading provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) solutions, today announced two key executive appointments to support its accelerating growth in the MRM marketplace. Al Milligan was promoted to chief operating officer and Barbara Lyon was named vice president of customer operations.

As COO, Milligan will oversee operations including network management, infrastructure, product management, major account management, manufacturing and acquisition integration. He previously served as executive vice president and vice president of operations, with primary responsibility for product management and distribution.

Milligan joined the company through its 2001 acquisition of Norcom Networks, where he served as COO. He previously served as director of business and product development for Rockwell International's On-Board computing division.

As vice president of customer operations Barbara Lyon will be responsible for service delivery, technical support, customer care and training. She joined the company as a result of its July 2007 acquisition of MRM solution provider Sapias, and has more than two decades of senior-level management experience in the logistics industry. She previously spent 12 years at Federal Express where she most recently served as managing director of express operations with responsibility for 19 locations and 995 frontline employees. Additionally, she held management positions at several startup companies, including Cookexpress.com, Bigstep.com, ecargoservice, and Parachute.
