Wireless Matrix Signs Key Contract Extension with Mobile Satellite Ventures

RESTON, VIRGINIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 27, 2006) - Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX:WRX) announced today that it has executed a contract extension with its satellite service provider Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) for services to January, 2008. Wireless Matrix and MSV have been partners since 1997.

The contract extension provides Wireless Matrix with an additional satellite channel to accommodate anticipated subscriber growth. Satellite service is a key component of Wireless Matrix's Wide Area Wireless communications network, which integrates satellite service and terrestrial wireless services into a single, seamless business communications solution.
