Wireless Matrix Signs Three Year Contract Extension With Key Customer

RESTON, VIRGINIA--(CCNMatthews - June 7, 2006) - Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX:WRX) has signed a three-year contract extension with a significant long-time customer, the company announced today.

The extension, valued at $18M over the three-year term, provides for renewal of the customer's existing services with Wireless Matrix. It also sets the foundation for the customer to migrate to broadband technologies employing the Wireless Matrix MBS2 multi-mode modem. The agreement supplies continued wireless data communications for the customer's field service organization to 2009.
