Wizzard Media Announces 70 Million Podcast Downloads in March

Wizzard's Network Distributes Over 50% of 2006 Totals in First Q of 2007

PITTSBURGH, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 1, 2007 -- Wizzard Media, the world's largest podcast hosting network and part of Wizzard Software (OTCBB: WIZD), announced today its network distributed over 70,000,000 podcast episodes in March to an audience of millions in the U.S. and around the world. In the first quarter of 2007, Wizzard Media's network growth surpassed 50% of the 360,000,000 episodes it distributed in all of 2006 for its 8,000 independent and corporate clients. Daily requests for its publisher's shows surpassed 2,300,000 episodes per day.

"The audience for audio and video podcasts is growing substantially as more consumers become aware of the vast array of high quality, free content available not only to iPod owners but to anyone with a computer or MP3 player," says Chris Spencer, CEO of Wizzard. "The radio and TV style internet shows we distribute for our publishers consistently make up over one-third of the top 25 shows across all podcasting categories in iTunes. This is a result of a user generated content hungry audience who appreciates the mobility and time shifting capabilities of podcasting."

In recent announcements Wizzard Media has pledged to focus its efforts on monetizing podcasts for its publishers through a wide array of initiatives, with advertising and sponsorship being the driving force. In a key step towards this, Wizzard recently announced the hiring of Jim Else, a 20-year advertising veteran from Time, Inc.'s Time4 Media division, a multimedia company encompassing magazines, Web sites, television and radio programming, feature films, and events and exhibitions. Mr. Else will lead a sales force offering advertisers the opportunity to engage with large audiences based on their target market.

"We are offering both local and national advertisers a unique opportunity to successfully promote their brands through podcasts," says Jim Else, Vice President of Sales for Wizzard Media. "We provide advertisers with access to the largest podcasting audience, a safe environment to tap into the user generated content market using our speech technologies to filter for quality and relevance, while at the same time providing tools to our publishers that encourage audience engagement at levels rarely seen in other mediums, three key benefits for advertisers."
