Wolf Greenfield Names Jason Honeyman Managing Partner

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 22, 2005 -- Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C., a Boston intellectual property law firm, has elected Jason M. Honeyman, managing partner and president.

He succeeds Edward R. Gates, who was elected chairman.

"In recent years we've strengthened our position as one of New England's top intellectual property law boutiques by attracting marquee clients and talented lawyers, and Jason is the logical choice to lead us as we go forward," Gates said.

Honeyman specializes in counseling clients regarding complex litigation, licensing and due diligence matters, strategic patent and trademark portfolio management, and product clearance. He represents clients from start-up enterprises to major corporations, including industry leaders such as Burton Snowboards and Davol/C.R. Bard. He will continue to serve as chair of Wolf Greenfield's mechanical practice group.

He has served as an adjunct professor of advanced patent law at Suffolk University Law School and regularly lectures on intellectual property law. Last year, Boston Magazine featured him as one of Massachusetts' "Super Lawyers."

A graduate of Suffolk University Law School, he holds a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from Lafayette College.

Founded in 1927, Wolf Greenfield is one of the most experienced law firms in the country specializing in intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, licensing agreements, copyrights, trade secrets and related litigation. Web:
