Amsterdam (March 26, 2007) - Wolters Kluwer, a leading global information services and publishing company, today announced, further to the press release issued earlier today on its agreement with Bridgepoint Capital Limited for purchase of its Education division for a purchase price of EUR 774 million, that the company expects to generate from this transaction a net book gain of between EUR 550 million and EUR 600 million and net proceeds of between EUR 625 million and EUR 675 million, after transaction costs, additional pension funding requirements, and tax.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close by June 2007.
