Women in the Boardroom to Roll Out New Membership Options Along With New Website

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Feb 4, 2016) - Women in the Boardroom (WIB), a leading global organization committed to advancing women in the workplace and into corporate boardrooms, today announced the launch of new membership options along with a new website developed and designed by KNOCK, a Minneapolis-based creative agency and Corporate Member of WIB.

"We are in our fifth year of our membership platform and with an increase in the number of current corporate board directors joining as members along with our high membership retention rate, we knew we had to expand our VIP offerings to meet the different needs of our members," Sheila Ronning, Founder and CEO of Women in the Boardroom, said. "With our new website, we have made it easier to navigate the new options, view our progress and access the extensive knowledge content we have created. We have positioned ourselves to be able to help even more women get their seat at the table," she added.

Women in the Boardroom New Membership Options:

  • Corporations can choose between Corporate Membership and Corporate Sponsorship. Corporate Membership focuses on the development of the company's senior female leaders while Corporate Sponsorship increases the company's visibility among WIB's extensive group of members, subscribers, website visitors and social media followers.

  • When signing up, senior level executive women can choose between five membership levels instead of three, and with an increased number of selections from the Prestige or Unlimited Virtual Event Memberships, to three VIP options I, VIP II or VIP III. Whether in the first stages of their board journey or already serving, members are able to select what best fits their needs and goals.

  • For the first time, Search Firms can now gain visibility among the many corporations and executives who visit WIB's website or submit board openings through the WIB Sponsorship Program.
