Women in Leadership Foundation's to Host 4th Annual Ontario Women in Business Luncheon

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2010) - The Women In Leadership Foundation (WIL) will be hosting its fourth Annual Ontario Women in Business Luncheon on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., at the Design Exchange. This year's event focuses on the Secrets to Being Highly Productive and Happy.

"Recent statistics show that, compared to forty years ago or compared to men, women are generally less happy. We, at WIL, believe that should not be the case," said Maya Kanigan, WIL's President and Founder. "For this reason we selected a number of successful women to share their experiences and prove that happiness and productivity can indeed co-exist."

THREE SUCCESSFUL WOMEN SHARE THEIR SECRETS TO BEING HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE AND HAPPY.

Carla Robinson, CBC Newsworld Anchor, will be moderating the panel focusing on the importance of finding the secrets to being highly productive and happy. The panel will include:

  • Kathryn Smith, Chief of Staff, TD Securities Global Operations and Technology
  • Nicole Gallucci, President, BOOM! Vision & Leadership
  • Michelle Magwood, Director, Controller – Wireless, Rogers Communications

The luncheon, presented by TD Bank Financial Group, is part of a National Spotlight Speaker Series that showcases female role models in business and facilitates the expansion of networks. The Speaker Series is held in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. Event proceeds will go towards the Women in Leadership Mentorship program.
