Women's Professional Billiards Association Signs Three Year Contract With ESPN3

Bringing Professional Women's Billiards Back Into the Limelight

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2016) - Women's Professional Billiard Association "the WPBA", featuring the greatest women pool players from around the world, is proud to announce they have signed a three year contract with ESPN3 to provide live broadcast of the annual Masters, U.S. Open, and Tour Championship. The first show will air Sunday, February 7th, 2016 at 1:00pm ET, LIVE from the Masters Championship, staged at the beautiful Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

The Masters is one of three WPBA majors that include live stream broadcasts aired on ESPN3, the 4th most watched sports network in the U.S. For the 7th consecutive year, the WPBA will stage the illustrious Masters Championship featuring the top female competitors in the world of professional billiards. A field of 48 elite players will battle it out for the prestigious title of "2016 Soaring Eagle Masters Champion," with matches beginning on Thursday, February 4th, running through Sunday, February 7th. Players vying for the WPBA title include the "Duchess of Doom" Allison Fisher, "Little Devil Girl" and Player of the Year Ga-Young Kim, "The Assassin" Monica Webb, "9 mm" Jennifer Barretta, and many more!

The Masters kicks off February 3rd with an afternoon Kid's Clinic followed by an evening Charity Pro-Am supporting the Notah Begay III Foundation, where participants are paired with a pro, competing against other teams, in a laid-back, antics-filled billiard competition!
