ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Sep 18, 2013) - Wood Partners announced today the promotion of Todd Gaines to director. He will oversee the development, design and financing of construction in South Texas, including Houston and San Antonio.

Gaines joined Wood Partners in 2007 and has been instrumental in the financing, development, and management of more than 2,000 housing units valued at more than $225 million.

Prior to joining Wood Partners, Gaines was an attorney with Houston-based Dabney & Pappas where he specialized in real estate litigation.
Gaines earned a master's degree in business from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business, a law degree from South Texas College of Law and a bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University. He is a member of the Associate Council of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business.
