Word of Mouth Marketing Association Online Certificate Program Starts January 25

Participants Earn Word of Mouth and Social Media Marketing Certificate

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - January 6, 2011) - The Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) announced the 2011 dates for its Online Certificate Program, the first session beginning January 25. The WOMMA Online Certificate Program focuses on providing best practices in ethical and effective word of mouth and social media marketing.

Since 2009, more than 500 brand marketing professionals have graduated from the program, and it has proven to be a useful tool for those new to the social marketing field, those who wish to educate their staff or clients, and those who simply wish to boost their social marketing career and education. Participants receive knowledge of an overall framework for both offline and online word of mouth marketing best practices.

The six-segment program will be conducted via webinars every Tuesday and Thursday beginning January 25, for one hour.

"The WOMMA Online Certificate Program teaches participants how to best incorporate word of mouth and social media into a holistic marketing strategy, and how to tackle the various challenges along the way," said Kristen Smith, Executive Director of WOMMA.

WOMMA will also offer the program June 7 - June 23, and Nov 29 - Dec 15, 2011.

Fees for the WOMMA Online Certificate Program are: WOMMA Member: $395, nonmember: $550; the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business (SOCAP) Members: $395; Students: $125. Team rates are available.
