Workday Plans for Accelerated Growth; Expands Management Team

Mike Stankey, Former PeopleSoft Executive, Named President and Chief Operating Officer


PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - September 28, 2009) - Workday, Inc., the leader in enterprise-class SaaS-based Human Resources (HR) and Financial solutions, today expanded its management team as the company accelerates its growth plans for 2010 and beyond. Workday today appointed Mike Stankey as president and chief operating officer (COO). Dave Duffield and Aneel Bhusri are now co-chief executive officers, with Dave also continuing as chairman.

    chairman and CEO of PolyServe, a storage virtualization software
    company. Prior to PolyServe, Mike was senior vice president
    of North American sales for PeopleSoft, driving more than $1 billion in
    sales and services revenues. During his tenure at PeopleSoft, Mike also
    held various general management and sales management roles. Mike is a
    graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, where he
    earned a BBA with majors in Accounting and Management Information
    Systems.
