World's First Truly Live Streaming Online Auction Site Opens Its Internet Doors

Not Your Mother's Brick & Mortar Auction, BNO(R) & Its Proprietary Platform Give Worldwide Buyers Access to Live Streaming, Interactive Auctions Hosted by Real Auctioneers; UPCOMING: Photography Week, Starring Superstar Lensmen; Car Auctions, Featuring Lexus & Mercedes, Starting Under $10K; and Collectible Art From Iconic '60s Painter David Byrd

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 15, 2015) - With online sales in 2015 of art alone projected to be over $3.5 billion, brick and mortar auctions, which have been around since 500, B.C., may, like so many other things these days, be an endangered species.

That provided the motivation for the Los Angeles-based start-up tech company, Bid Network Online (BNO), www.bno.com, the world's first authentic live streaming online auction site, which has recently launched with spectacular, three-days-a-week auctions.

Each week boasts a theme and this week it's PHOTOGRAPHY WEEK, starring some of the world's premier photographers and their original artwork, featuring landscapes and naturescapes.

In two weeks, BNO will present DAVID BYRD WEEK, featuring the rock-and-roll iconic works of '60s artist David Byrd, who created the early visual landscape of an enduring music genre and cultural phenomenon. Byrd's portfolio of original drawings, paintings and lithographs also features numerous Broadway shows, from "Jesus Christ Superstar" to "Follies" and "Godspell."

Also launching as a regular BNO.com feature will be bi-weekly AUTO AUCTIONS, showcasing premium autos (Lexus, Audi, Mercedes, Mini Cooper) with opening bids under $10K.

In between, there are other auctions including unique travel offerings such as an exotic trip to Hawaii for two, with the bidding starting at just $1.

Check BNO.com for details and schedules of all of their newly-launching auctions.

For sellers and buyers, BNO's creation is both user-friendly and wallet-friendly. Its fees are the lowest in the auction business.

BNO has built its own broadcast studio in Los Angeles to house and host its live auctions which, like TV shows, are regularly scheduled each week and hosted by a series of real auctioneers.

Buyers are able to log in to the auctions when they start and participate as if they were sitting in an actual brick and mortar auction. Buyers who are unable to attend and watch an auction live can also place "pre-auction" bids online in advance (known as proxy bids in the auction industry).

Sellers, who are able to interact with the auctioneers as the auctions happen live, save themselves the expense of shipping items to the company's headquarters in Los Angeles by providing photos and videos that are a part of the live auction presentation.

Another BNO innovation is its Bid Jump feature that allows the buyer to jump ahead of other buyers and outbid them without delay.

"Each scheduled auction presentation is part auction, part show biz," says Nick Nassiri, Founder of Bid Network Online. "Our goal is to make the guest experience more visual, more entertaining, more fast-paced than any previous auctions, as we hope to attract many younger first-timers as well as the paddle-wielding attendees of the past."
