Worldwide Energy Announces Strong July Sales and Profit; $4.5 Million in Revenue and $400,000 in Pre-Tax Earnings for July 2009

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA and SHANGHAI, CHINA--(Marketwire - September 1, 2009) - Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing (OTCBB: WEMU) announced today that unaudited sales for July 2009 reached $4.5 million with estimated unaudited pre-tax earnings of $400,000. About 70 percent of the sales were from the solar division and 30 percent were generated from its contract manufacturing division.

Jimmy Wang, CEO, stated: "I wanted to let our shareholders know that despite the fact that we only earned $0.01 in the second quarter, that our July sales and earnings are strong. I also expect strong August and September and thus a solid third quarter."
