Worldwide Energy & Manufacturing USA, Inc. Provides Update on Reporting Requirements for Its Form 10-K

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2011) - Worldwide Energy & Manufacturing USA, Inc. (OTCBB: WEMU) (OTCBB: WEMUE) ("Worldwide" or the "Company"), a rapidly growing supplier of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules under the 'Amerisolar' brand, today provided an update on the reporting requirements to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K.

The Company had previously filed an extension notification with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") for its audited annual financials for the period ended December 31, 2010, that were due on March 31, 2011. The Company has 30 days to become current in its reporting requirements and maintain its status the OTCBB. The Company is working diligently to bring its filings into compliance and to complete its Annual Report on Form 10-K.

As a result of the delinquency, the letter "E" will be appended to the end of the Company's stock symbol and its shares will trade under the symbol "WEMUE." If the Company is able to become current in its reporting requirements within 30 days, the "E" will be removed. If the Company is not successful in becoming current within 30 days, its shares will then be transferred from OTCBB and will trade on the OTC Markets.
