Worldwide to Commence Exploration Activity on Fox Lake VMS Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) -Worldwide Promotional Management Inc. (CNSX:WRL) -

Announcement Highlights:

  • geological model is the historically prolific Fox Mine
  • deep penetrating geophysical testing and drill program being developed
  • property located in mining friendly province of Manitoba, Canada

Worldwide Promotional Management Inc. ("Worldwide") is pleased to announce that the company will be proceeding with exploration of its recently acquired Fox Lake Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) Property located in Manitoba, Canada.

The exploration program is being designed to test the Fox Lake VMS Property for the discovery of new copper rich and zinc rich VMS deposits.

Worldwide's 100% owned Fox Lake VMS Property consists of ground surrounding the former producing copper and zinc mine known as the Fox Mine. According to the Manitoba Mineral Resources Division, a total of approximately 12 million tons (11,958,182t) grading 1.82% copper and 1.78% zinc was mined from the Fox Mine between 1970-1985, a time of very low copper and zinc prices relative to today. The project is favourably located, 45 kilometers south of Lynn Lake with accessibility from a major paved highway.

The potential exists to target high grade VMS deposits at depth, additional large high grade VMS lenses along strike and bulk tonnage copper and zinc potential near surface. Initial work will include data compilation relating to historical work including an analysis of the bulk tonnage potential, ground geophysics including the first ever modern deep penetrating geophysical survey of the property and drill testing below the main historical zone and of any new geophysical anomalies found in the ground geophysical survey.

Worldwide is currently developing an initial ground geophysical work program and is targeting to commence exploration on the property next month.

VMS deposits contain some of the most valuable aggregates of metal in the world and are the product of metal-rich hydrothermal solution discharges onto or near the sea floor and form bodies of copper-, zinc-, gold- and/or silver-rich mineralization. Famous VMS districts in the world include Kuroko, Flin Flon and Noranda. Manitoba, a mining-friendly jurisdiction, is home to significant mining and mineral exploration and hosts substantial VMS-related production and multiple economic VMS discoveries.

Worldwide also reports the resignation of Mr. Mike Marrandino from the company's Board of Directors and thanks him for his valuable contributions to the company to date.
