Wright Joins Parsons as East Division Proposal Manager Water & Infrastructure

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2010) -  Parsons is pleased to announce that John D. Wright has joined the company as East Division Proposal Manager for its Water & Infrastructure group. In this capacity, he will lead major proposals, manage the division's sales and marketing team, assist in training and development, and work closely with business development and division management to promote Parsons' core values and strategic objectives.

Mr. Wright has more than 17 years of experience in the environmental consulting and engineering fields with direct profit and loss and staff responsibility as well as management of multiservice operations. He also has strong sales, marketing, proposal writing, and business development experience. Prior to joining Parsons, Mr. Wright was the managing partner of his own firm where he was responsible for the overall direction of the environmental group, devoting 50% of his time to identifying business development targets in municipal, state, and federal sector markets, and leading the professional staff to that end. Before starting his own business, he worked for two engineering and construction services firms.

Mr. Wright holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Southern University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he also minored in chemistry. He is based in Parsons' Norcross, Georgia, office.
