WTIA to Host 2nd Annual TechNW Conference Highlighting the Northwest as Technology Hotspot

Leaders From Facebook, Google, Microsoft,, Verizon Wireless and Zynga Among the Panelists Discussing the Future of Technology

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Sep 7, 2011) - The Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) (, one of the largest statewide associations of technology companies, IT departments and individual technology professionals in North America, today announced the speaker lineup for its second annual TechNW: North to Innovation. This one-day conference will be held on October 11 and builds upon last year's blockbuster inaugural event by bringing together a new group of technology leaders to share their vision, passion and insights about the tech industry in the Northwest and beyond.

TechNW will showcase the bright minds and innovative technology that led to Seattle being recently named the number one tech city in the nation by Scientific American. Attendees will benefit from intellectual and creative interactions and networking with industry leaders who will bring critical insights into the future of the following tech sectors: Corporate Development, Mobile, Games, Next Generation Ecommerce, Cloud and Seattle as Startup Ground. Panel topics include:

  • How to effectively work with corporate development teams at Facebook, Google, Microsoft and
  • Find out what's next in mobile networks, user interfaces and applications from Chetan Sharma, Verizon, Swype, Glympse and more.
  • Hear about Seattle's fertile startup landscape from the leaders of Lockerz, Redfin, TechStars Seattle and Zynga.
