WWF-Canada-Media Advisory: Canadians to Fight Climate Change One Step at a Time

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 18, 2008) -

More than 5,000 people are expected to come out and help WWF-Canada fight climate change by climbing the CN Tower this Saturday, April 19.



Who: People of all ages will use their energy and passion for the
environment to climb 1,776 stairs of Canada's National Tower
and help WWF-Canada fight climate change.

Interviews will be permitted with climb participants and
WWF-Canada staff.

What: Canada Life CN Tower Climb for WWF-Canada

Where: CN Tower (301 Front Street West, Toronto)

Media - please check in at the media table located just
inside the entrance of the CN Tower. WWF-Canada staff will be
on-hand to help you get just the right shot.

When: Saturday, April 19, 2008
6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting 6:00 a.m.

Why: This is one of the few chances to climb the CN Tower and an
opportunity to challenge yourself and have fun with thousands
of other eager participants while supporting the conservation
work of WWF-Canada. It is expected that this year's climb
will raise $1.2 million to help fight climate change - the
biggest environmental threat to our planet.
