Wyckoff Heights Medical Center Chooses Stage 2 Networks to Provide High Speed Data Connectivity With Enhanced Voice Services

Hospital Will Realize Long-Term Cost and Service Efficiencies

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 12, 2009) - Stage 2 Networks, a leader in hosted PBX and converged network solutions, today announced that it will be providing data connectivity with enhanced voice services to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, a 350-bed teaching hospital located in Brooklyn, New York with 8 affiliate locations within the New York metro area. Stage 2 will provide Wyckoff with a 100 MB data connection into the hospital and 10 MB connections will be distributed to each of its affiliate locations. Stage 2 will also be supplying Wyckoff Medical with its voice services over this network.

"Although pricing was one factor in considering a service provider for our communications needs, we wanted a company that can provide us with solutions, redundancy, and a long-term personalized relationship that we can rely upon," said Cletis Earle, Chief Information Officer of Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. "Stage 2 was highly recommended by Triad Communications which helped us make the final decision in choosing them for our communications needs."

Joseph P. Gillette, CEO of Stage 2 Networks, states, "We see our relationship with the hospital growing as they continue to use advanced voice and data services to better serve their patients. Stage 2 will be able to provide robust access to patients' healthcare issues which will result in more preventative care and less re-admission rates." The installation of Wyckoff's newly converged voice and data network is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
