Wyndham Championship Increases Online Fans by Nearly Four Hundred Percent With Trivia Contest

Contest Winner Announced; Receives One Million Wyndham Rewards Points

PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwired - Aug 27, 2013) - Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), one of the largest hospitality companies, announced today that the Wyndham Championship Facebook page increased its online fan-base by nearly four hundred percent through the recent Wyndham Championship Trivia Contest. 

During the 18-week campaign, fans were encouraged to visit the Wyndham Championship Facebook page to enter the sweepstakes and answer a trivia question related to the Wyndham Championship, Wyndham Worldwide or its family of brands. Each week leading up to the tournament, one winner was randomly selected and received 25,000 Wyndham Rewards points and had their photo replace the pin flag on the course map cover photo on the Wyndham Championship Facebook page. On average, there were 10,000 page views each week and more than twenty-five thousand entries throughout the contest.

On the last day of the Wyndham Championship, Johnathan Whittaker Bullard of Lake Worth, FL was randomly chosen from the 18 weekly winners to receive the grand prize of one million Wyndham Rewards Points. Bullard receives one million Wyndham Rewards points as the grand prize winner of the Wyndham Championship Trivia Contest.
